Joe Ganci once again walks in the Fairfax County Indpendence Day Parade as part of the Fairfax Sons of Italy Lodge. The crowds cheered....all for me, I'm sure!

Joe, I recently commented on your article on the eLearning Guild. I was surprised when your name came up when I searched for the Faifax Parade. I didn't realize you were in the group of Italian Americans. I am in the clown group that was in the parade and was waiting in the parking lot near your group. You can just see me on the edge of the video you took of our juggler. The blue smart car with the blue hat was mine. If you have a picture of a clown with yellow hair, that was probably me...
Hey, Mike, small world! I did see you but funny thing didn't know who you were under all that makeup! Of course, I have a hard time with names and faces anyway - if only everyone were programming code, it'd be easier. :-)
I am not always good with names and faces either... It seems that neither of us were being ourselves that day. Since you were wearing the name of John Sirica, I was less likely to recognize you. Who would have guessed that you would have been a more famous Italian American using your own name... I think we may have met several years ago through one of my former co-workers, Kevin Rehbein. At least, I remember he often mentioned your name in connection with Authorware.
